These four little cuties are now 3½ weeks old and absolutely thriving. This week they reached a huge milestone - learning to lap their first meals from a bowl! They’re becoming more curious, playful and full of personality every day, and we couldn’t be more in love.

We can’t wait to share their journey with you. 🥹

Hi! We’re Alex & Terence, the husband and wife team behind Tidepool Dachshunds.

What started as a love for one very special little dachshund has grown into a breeding program focused on raising healthy, confident, and well-socialised miniature long-haired dachshunds.

Alex studied to become a qualified vet nurse, bringing a strong focus on health, welfare and puppy development. Terence is the tech guru behind Tidepool, using his IT expertise to make our program as advanced as possible—from our whelping box and puppy pen camera systems to all the behind-the-scenes technology that helps us care for our dogs and keep our puppy families connected.

Our dogs are family first, and every puppy is raised in our home before joining theirs. Thank you for following our journey—we’re so glad you’re here. 🐾

If happiness had four legs… 🤍

This is Howie, our stunning Isabella and Tan Piebald long-haired miniature Dachshund. Always smiling, always up for an adventure, and always happy to stop for cuddles along the way.

His gentle, affectionate nature is just as beautiful as his colouring, and it’s one of the many reasons we’re so proud to have him as the heart of our breeding program. We couldn’t love this boy more. 🌊
