The time has come to share the sad news that for the time being All Claas Equine will no longer be doing Horse Riding Lessons or taking on any outside horses.

Due to change in help, losing a lesson horse and the ever increasing work load of the farm, that & my family are the main priority as well as keeping up to date with my own horses & competitions.

Any pre booked engagements still stand, feel free to message and touch base. I am extremely passionate about helping you horse lovers improve so I do hope to be back in some capacity at some stage, specifically Barrel Racing Lessons/Clinics and helping people with their own horses (no longer supplying a lesson horse).

I truly want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone I have crossed paths with during this venture. Thank you for supporting my small little hustle & giving me life long friends and memories!

✨ Exciting News from the Team! ✨

Our team has grown again, and we’re thrilled to now have three vets, two vet nurses, and our practice manager all on board and ready to do what we love!

This means we now have two vets available each day, allowing us to offer increased appointment availability while still maintaining strong coverage for emergencies and urgent calls alongside our routine visits.

As the weather cools and the rain eases, riding season is officially kicking off, and we’re ready to support you and your horses through the busy months ahead.

We are looking for someone special to join our team….. 🌟

This person would ideally do a day or two a week on a casual basis or several shorter shifts around school/uni etc.

Duties would include but not limited to
- feeding/rugging/spraying and medicating horses
- Catching horses for farrier/vet days
- Cleaning troughs
- Washing horses
- Keeping tack rooms and feed shed organised and tidy
- Mowing and whipper snipping
- Taking delivery of new horses from owners and/or transport companies
- Communicating with other members of our team if you find something wrong
- Some weekend work if we are away and other team members can’t attend
- There’s always a million little things to do!

We really are looking for a needle in a haystack! But we know you’re out there ⭐️

This ideal candidate would posses the following
- a good work ethic
- a kind nature
- honesty and integrity
- an eye for detail and a trainable disposition
- a true desire to work with horses for more than just the social media pictures
- your own car and drivers licence and the desire to actually turn up

Horses are magic in so many ways!

According to a study by Sara Kwon and colleagues published in the journal Annals of Rehabilitation Medicine (2019), therapeutic horseback riding (THR) may help improve language and cognitive abilities in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or intellectual disability (ID). In this study, children aged 6–13 participated in an 8-week program where the therapy group received conventional therapy along with 30 minutes of therapeutic horseback riding once per week. Researchers measured changes in language using standardized tests such as the Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test (REVT) and the Preschool Receptive-Expressive Language Scale (PRES), and assessed cognition using the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (K-ABC) and the Bayley Scales of Infant Development.

The findings showed that children who participated in therapeutic horseback riding experienced significant improvements in receptive language, expressive language, vocabulary skills, and cognitive functioning after the 8-week intervention. Although both the therapy and control groups showed some improvement, the horseback riding group improved in more areas. Researchers concluded that therapeutic horseback riding may be a promising complementary therapy to support communication, learning, and cognitive development in children with ASD and intellectual disabilities.

A little about me 🥰

My name is Dakota Baretta, I’m 28, mum of two wild babies and wife to a farmer!
I’ve been riding since before I could walk, I was entered in my first rodeo at 5 years old and I haven’t looked back! Horses have always been a huge part of our lives!

At 13 I started giving lessons after school and on weekends when we didn’t have a rodeo!

Teaching truly gives me great joy, especially seeing the confidence of my students bloom with each lesson.

I am so grateful for the incredible horses that have shaped my life and excited to share that knowledge with more people. I have been around exceptional horse trainers my whole life which allows me to help with not only riding skills but foundation improvements, horsemanship and more.

I predominantly compete in barrel racing and breakaway but from a young age I have been a part of pony clubs, show jumping, hacking, vaulting, gymkhanas, western pleasure and more.

At All Claas Equine, I believe knowledge is power and we never stop learning. With that in mind, my goal is to share all I can and allow more people to be a part of the equine community no matter their ability 🦄
