💜 PURE Lavender Sussex rooster and a few young roosters are looking for great new homes 🏡

Just to clarify: they are NOT at the sanctuary right now. Though we are hoping to find them wonderful private homes before they need to come in.

🙏 Please reach out if you can help!

Meet the newest member to our Sanctuary 🐑❤️

On Saturday, we received a heartbreaking message about this sweet little lamb whose mum had sadly passed away.

Our rule is pretty simple: when an animal needs care, we jump at the opportunity.

We happily opened up our hearts and home to her, and she is already settling in. My little shadow 💙

It’s hard work - like a newborn baby but seeing her safe and comfortable makes every moment worth it.

Welcome home, little lady. ✨

Rescue Notice:
Property Lines & Dumped Roosters 🐓

As a non-for-profit rescue, we want to save every dumped and surrendered rooster we can.
However, we must always operate within the law to protect our organization!
Here is how property rules affect our rescues:

🚫 Private Property:
We are strictly not allowed to trespass. Even if a rooster is dumped or in distress, we legally cannot enter private land without written approval from the property owner.

🌳 Council Property:
Public parks, roadsides, and council land are a different story! If a rooster is dumped on council property, our team can usually step in to attempt a rescue right away.

|| SHOUT OUT & APPREICATION POST || 🙏

Dear Angela, family, and the wonderful staff at Tablelands to Tabletop

We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your incredible, ongoing support of the poultry in our care here at the sanctuary. 🙏

Your regular donations of fruit and vegetables make a massive difference in the lives of our animals. 🍉🥑🥬🫐

The boys are absolutely spoiled by the produce you provide, and it is a joy to see them enjoy it so much. 🐓

Running a sanctuary relies heavily on the kindness of our community, and family-owned businesses like yours. ⭐️

Without your generosity, we truly wouldn't be able to provide the variety and quality of food that keeps our birds so happy and healthy. 😋

Thank you for always being so friendly, supportive, and dedicated to helping us give these animals the best life possible.

With sincere thanks and appreciation ❤️
