I am using a Puppington Pod for the first time with foster dog Uso.
The pod will be his reward toy for agility training

A really nice group of dogs and humans came together this weekend for a beach pack walk.

We are really terrible with making any real distance. Instead choosing to enjoy each others company and letting our dogs enjoy their surrondings.

Uso (white) from 🐶Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge🐱 joined us to help build his confidence in new surrondings ❤️❤️

Dr Melanie Uhde recommends 45mins to an hour walk where you are moving forward with purpose 😊
She explains the science behind why travelling longer distances helps an anxious dog.

Out in nature with our dogs - what could be better than a packwalk......
We relax, take in our surrondings and socialise ❤️
No stressful situations, No training
Learning to be in the presence of others ❤️‍🩹

Today we had
Thor the intact male - regulating his love bug
Leon working through his environmental concerns
Molly leading the pack and making everyone feel welcome
Bella getting her steps up after recovering from an injury
Uso sniffing and processing the environment - 🦘

Uso is available to adopt from 🐶Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge🐱

What did your dog have for dinner 🤔
I have 4 dogs (one is a foster) and they all have slight variations depending on their health and age 😍

This morning it was duck wings from Feed and Fodder Beerwah and and shark cartlidge from CLEAR Dog Treats

How do you successfully give medication to your dog 🤔
I'm a fan of using this cheese in a can from Kong.
The dogs seem to love it 😋 and they get the licking sensation - which is also soothing...

It's about AUS $12 and lasts a long time even when used daily across 3 dogs.

I have used cheese cubes in the past, yoghurt and mince. The Kong can is definatley the quickest and less messy solution for me.
