At Fluff & Buff Grooming Services by Belle, I don’t just groom your fur baby — I care for them. 🐶✂️🛁

Every groom gives me the opportunity to feel and look over your dog from head to tail. I pay attention to their skin, coat and body and will always let you know if I notice something that doesn’t look or feel quite right.

Recently, while grooming one of my regular fur babies, I felt a lump on their leg. I mentioned it to their owner and recommended having it checked by their vet. Sadly, further investigation confirmed it was a tumour. 💔

I’m not a vet and I don’t diagnose — but I do pay attention. ❤️

This is why grooming, to me, is so much more than making your baby look and smell beautiful. It’s getting to know them, noticing changes and speaking up when something feels different.

Even though the current risk around Banksia is low, paralysis ticks can become active at any time. The recent Petbarn tick map shows that nearby suburbs are already seeing increased activity.

🐶 As loving pet parents, prevention is always better than treatment.

✔️ Check your dog’s coat after every walk.
✔️ Keep up-to-date with tick prevention.
✔️ Don’t forget to check hidden spots like ears, neck, armpits, between the toes, and under the collar.
✔️ If your dog seems weak, wobbly, is vomiting, or has trouble breathing, seek veterinary care immediately.
