💜 Another great day in Broadmeadows! 💜

We were back in Broadmeadows on Wednesday and desexed 21 cats! 🐱✂️

This event was made possible with the wonderful support of ELITE CAT Rescue and Banksia Gardens Community Services, helping us provide accessible, affordable desexing to cats and their families in the local community. We are so grateful to work alongside organisations that share our commitment to reducing unwanted litters 🫶🏻

Thank you to everyone who brought their cats along and trusted us with their care. We loved meeting all the gorgeous faces and personalities who came through the clinic!

We are teaming up with Project Meow again this September for another affordable desexing event in Geelong.

And yes — desex the boys too! One undesexed male can father a whole lot of kittens, so preventing unwanted litters isn’t just a job for the girls.

The Vet Project is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our small, tight-knit team delivering high-volume, high-quality desexing services across Victoria. 🚐🐱🐶

The role:
🐾 Casual position – above-award rates
📅 Days vary
🚐 Regional travel opportunities may be available
📍 No fixed clinic location – flexibility is important
☀️ Work fluctuates seasonally, with summer our busiest period

We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly competent and confident with GA monitoring
- Can work autonomously while maintaining excellent patient care
- Thrives in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment
- Is flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure
- Is exceptionally reliable and enjoys being part of a small, close-knit team

If you are an experienced vet nurse who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things well and would love to be part of a team making animal care more accessible, we would love to hear from you!

💜 67 cats. Three days. One wonderful Warragul visit! 💜

Last week our mobile clinic rolled into Warragul for three busy days, with 67 cats desexed along the way! 😻

A huge thank you to South Gippsland Animal Aid for sponsoring the event and helping make accessible desexing possible for local cats and their families.

We loved meeting all the beautiful (and very photogenic 📸) faces who came through our clinic, with plenty of fun personalities keeping us entertained along the way!

Partnerships like this help us bring high-quality desexing services directly into communities, and we are incredibly grateful for the support that makes these events possible.
