Hold onto your seats (and assets 😉) folks, while we get down to business.

🍽️ ⛽ Food & Fuel Funds - $397.50 received since 2nd October (15 days) 🥳

This is *extremely* helpful, thank you!

Our food costs alone in this time bracket have been $789
I can't express just how important the weekly Food & Fuel fundraiser is!
Quality food is vital for funky fosters.
And there's no substitute for fuel that I know of.

🦷 Sebastian's Current Dental Tally - $520
(No new funds)

We now have the invoice for Seb's dental clean and extractions and it's $2336
He had 17 teeth removed 🫢, so we're absolutely stoked and immensely grateful!

Now we need to raise the funds asap to pay this bill ⚠️
$1,816 is still needed please.

One of the biggest vet bills we've had and also one of the most urgent.
We didn't have the funds going into this op but we took the plunge anyway to save Seb from discomfort 😰

🐕 Luna's doggy donations - $100 raised 🎉

Little update on the lass, she's fairly comfortable on Meloxicam but feels the pain in her injured leg quite a bit more when it starts to wear off 😬
So she's super blessed that a donator moved fast to provide her with funds for meds 🙏

He's not on these medications anymore (yay!) but we still need to recoup the funds to buy vet meds for other fosters 💊

Luna at the vet... 🐕

Thank you Heartlands Veterinary Hospitals York for fitting Luna in today! 🙌

And thank you also to Chelsea for answering the transport call from Merredin to York! 👏

Wheatbelt networking at its best!

Yesterday Luna couldn't walk after her accident, which may have happened as she tried to jump a fence.
But we're not sure 🤷

However she did it, it was *awfully* sore!

Today she's only got a slight limp and is happy to move around though 🤗
What a lucky stroke!

We'll see how she is after 5 days of anti-inflammatory medication (thank you Lesley for ensuring Luna had funds for treatment today!) 💞

We weren't planning on fostering a dog over the weekend, but here we are lol.

What does Luna need? 🙋

* A foster home while she recovers
* Sponsors to cover the cost of her spay, chip & vaccination
* A 'foster to adopt' home with a
pay it forward arrangement

And LOADS of love, of course! 😍

Double whammy vet run... 🎊
Rescue runs on wheels!

Yesterday's transport in the Lifeline Laser was a bit of a tetris exercise for Colin.
The Rescue Ranger won't be fixed and back in operation for a couple of weeks yet 😬

But cats still need to get to the vet, right?
Not to mention a dog here and there.
So we make it work as best we can.

Gratitude to Swan Veterinary Hospital and Forrestdale Veterinary Hospital for sterilising Wheatbelt cats! 🙌

They aren't located anywhere near where these cats come from but that doesn't stop them from stepping up and helping make Stray Cat Clean Towns in the Wheatbelt ✊

Please support the vets that support community service in remote WA areas!

George from Koorda was in the mix somewhere and got back around 8pm last night (thank you Jodie! 🙏)

Emergency transport needed for dog... 🚨

Luna has unfortunately injured her leg.
She can't put weight on it and needs to see the vet asap!

It may be broken or her hip may be damaged Ouch! ⚡ Can you help please?

Luna's owner is very worried but unable to transport her atm.

We need someone to drive Luna from near Merredin to Northam or possibly York.
Today preferably.

Only 2 meds a day now 👌
No cone and no overgrooming or self injury.

His front leg scabs are almost healed up.
Skin is healthy and coat is growing back.
Relaxed and eating well 👍

We still need to do the elimination diet trial.
And he's on FIP meds for just a little longer.

We really need to focus on the fundraising.
A LOT has been invested to get Ruben to this stage.
That money is now needed to pay it forward for the next cat in crises 🤲

Please share, fundraise, donate and do whatever you can (short of robbing a bank lol) to chip in for the handsomest and luckiest black cat in WA 😃

He's beat a *severe* flea allergy, symptoms similar to Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome AND been battling neurological FIP 😵‍💫

Dobby's big day has arrived 😲

And not a day too soon either, poor lad is in pain and really needs this TPLO surgery!

Stephen has worked tirelessly to fundraise for the costly procedure.
And now Dobby has a chance to live the rest of his life pain free and happ-y 🤗

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today!
It's a big operation and Dobby has some anaemia, which complicates matters 😬

But as you can see from the video, this lad isn't walking comfortably atm.
Even with pain medication onboard.
So a better fix is needed.

Misty the cutie! 🥰

She was so bewildered and shut down while with us to get her vet work done 😥

But the moment mum and dad pick her up from Spay Camp to head home, she came alive again 🤗

Misty from Merredin has really bonded with her foster parents.
She had a bit of a rough health ride after coming into care as a stray. But she's gone from strength to strength and is now sterilised 🙌

I love this video! And Misty loves her humans. And all is well with her world now 🥹
