KINGSTON PRIMARY OPEN NIGHT — WE’RE HERE!

We’re taking Slightly Bonkers on the road and joining Kingston Primary School for their Open Night this Thursday 17th September.

Come and grab yourself a delicious hot drink from us while you wander around the school and check out all the beautiful work the kids have been creating throughout the year.

And because supporting our local schools is something we’re passionate about:

We’re getting a little Slightly Bonkers tonight and heading to Parkfield Primary School for their Open Night 🙌🏻

Come down, grab yourself a delicious hot drink from Michelle, then wander through the school and have a look at all the amazing work our clever little humans have been creating throughout the year!

And because we LOVE supporting our local schools…

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, step-dads, grandads, bonus dads and father figures out there! 🥰

And of course, we have to give a special shout-out to our two favourite dads…

❤️ Scott — The one who keeps us all on our toes and somehow manages to put up with our level of Slightly Bonkers! (And all our talking) 😂 We hope you have the best day. You deserve it!

☕️ Craig — our resident Slightly Bonkers legend and the familiar face you’ll often find down at the van! If you’ve grabbed a coffee from us, chances are you’ve had a chat with Craig, been given a bit of cheek or watched him keeping things running behind the scenes. 😂❤️

Both of these guys are a huge part of our family and a huge part of what makes Slightly Bonkers what it is.

Morning Bonkers Family

WE’RE NOT HITTING THE ESTUARY UNTIL AFTER 9AM THIS MORNING!

Well… we’ve had a slightly bonkers little mishap this morning but we are rectifying it.

So unfortunately there’ll be NO early bird van today. We’ll be making our way down and should be set up from around 9am onwards.

We’re sorry to anyone who was counting on that early morning caffeine hit!

But don’t worry — we’ll be there. Better late than never right!?

LET’S INTRODUCE… BONKETTE!

Yep… Mum named her too. 😂

And honestly, how could we resist? She’s cute, she’s a little bit bonkers, and she’s officially part of the family!

Bonkette has had quite the makeover over the past 6 weeks 🤪 and today she’s finally making her way out of Bunbury off grid then to put Janet’s finishing touches and some stickers from Spencer Signs and she’s finished.

Her first official debut will be this weekend at the HBL Junior Football Council Wind-Up this Sunday!

And it won’t be long before Bonkette becomes our full-time Estuary girl! 🌊

Which means…
- No more standing in the rain. Yes! there is room for you guys too!
- No more getting blown around in the wind, freezing toes, cups with coffee in or chocolate topping blowing around. (The jug full of milk that Michelle spills everywhere may still happen just make sure the cameras are rolling)

BUT before anyone gets too excited…

NO, SHE DOES NOT FLOAT. 😂😂

So when the Estuary decides to flood, Bonkette will be safely tucked up at home in the shed where she belongs.

And if the sky is flashing, crashing and generally looking like it’s about to end the world…

There will STILL be absolutely no sign of us. 😅🫣

We might be slightly bonkers…
but we’re not that bonkers. 🤣

We can’t wait for you to meet Bonkette! 🖤☕️
