A really sad yet happy post to write. Last week we said goodbye to our beautiful Koa! Koa was born out of my first Golden British longhair import who arrived to us from Britanikuss cattery in Germany in 2021. As always, our many thanks for Olga allowing us to have Tiana, and her brother Rodny. Our thanks also to dear Kat who looked after Tiana and Rodny before they made the journey to us.
Tiana had her final litter with us early this year, and is now living the life of luxury with a lovely lady who Iām now proud to call a friend.
Born from Tianaās litter was Kiana, Koa and Chewie! Kiana and Koa were going to stay a part of our golden program, but as you may be aware we made the decision to cut down on our British program and eventually stop. Kiana has now headed off to Victoria, and Koa is now living locally with a lovely breeder couple. I can still get to see Koa, and who knows what the future may hold and if we see mini Koaās down the track!
An immensely sad goodbye saying see you later to Koa as he drove out the driveway, while I cried like a baby. One of the best boys Iāve bred, and he will only get better with age. His size is deceiving in photos - at only 9 months of age, he is a very big, solid and stocky lad, with beautiful ear size, eye colour and that lush traditional golden colour which is quite rare in the golden longhair. Koa has settled in beautifully and I will post about him again soon as I know he had a bit of a following. I took this photo on his final day with us š§” Wroxton Sweet Koa
