Our Little Sheep Project, mixing our Himalayan Merino boy with our Himalayan Texel carrying Shorthair girl to see if we can make a Sheep haha.. 1 Boy and 3 Girls.. I Love Himalayan coloured Piggies so this is just a fun project for me now just waiting to see how the curlies coats turn out, unfortunately this litter has some mismarked feet so not perfect Himalayan markings but 3 of the 4 are already showing good pigment where they do have it so that’s a positive.. But as usual the Only boy in the group is showing the best markings, pigment and coat type for what we want, but there’s only so many boys we can hold on to😩, it’s always the way.. Most if not all of this litter will be looking for forever homes soon, Girls are on pink and boy is on blue

Babies have short Smooth coat like their mum and are only carriers of the Texel coat..

This odd Cross was for part of a Colour/Coat/Type project we are working on.. They’re very beautiful babies with, which speaks to the quality of both parents..

Ready to go to his new home as of Sunday 14th June

-This boy is only available as we can only keep so many boys at the moment, he’s such a beautiful little boy, this was a hard choice..

Both boys are happily living together so would be great to go together if possible and all babies will only be going in pairs unless proof of you having at least one other Guinea pig friend for them to live with as they are highly social animals and don’t do as well on their own.

Unfortunately their brother decided he was a hairdresser and gave his siblings haircuts. This behaviour is called Barbering and is a common behaviour for babies learning to socially groom, usually fucused on grooming their mothers, but this litter has been exceptionally enthusiastic groomers and their barbering techniques were also practiced on each other. It will grow back, they do grow out of this behaviour..
