💔 URGENT DONATION APPEAL FOR TIA & ULKY 💔

My heart is absolutely breaking for Tia and Ulky right now.

I’m doing everything I possibly can to keep them safe while we continue searching for the right forever homes. My plan is to get them into boarding together. As much as I hate the thought of them being in boarding, I know they’ll be safe, cared for, and most importantly, they won’t be separated.

The first quote I received was $190 per night which is way too much but I’m currently waiting to hear back from two other boarding facilities in the hope they may be a little more affordable. Even so, the cost is far beyond what I can manage on my own.

I’m asking for help. If you’ve ever supported my page, shared a post, adopted a dog through me, or simply believe these two deserve a chance, any donation no matter how small would mean the world. Every dollar donated will go directly towards keeping Tia and Ulky safe while we work to find them the loving homes they deserve.

I feel so stuck right now and I’m trying to think of every possible option for these beautiful dogs. Thank you to everyone who has supported my page and the dogs I’ve helped so far. Your kindness truly makes a difference and I wouldn’t be able to do it without you ❤️

Dennis is a 5 year old Curly Coat Retriever who came to us after Animal Welfare League reached out for support.

Originally found as a stray, Dennis came to us struggling with dog reactivity, over-arousal, and difficulty settling within everyday environments. Since starting training, we’ve been focusing heavily on helping him build calmness, neutrality, engagement, and clearer communication skills through structured training and fulfilment.

Throughout his training package and rehab journey, Dennis has been working on marker training, leash skills, place training, recall, crate training, and learning how to better regulate himself around other dogs and distractions. Since being in our care, Dennis has been able to come off of behavioural medication under the guidance of our vet. One of the biggest wins has been seeing him begin to calmly coexist around dogs without feeling the need to react.

Dennis is a loving, intelligent dog with a huge working drive and a love for learning. Like many working breeds, he thrives when given structure, purpose, and appropriate outlets to channel his energy.

He will suit an active and committed home that enjoys training, adventure, and continuing the work we’ve started with him. In the right environment, Dennis is going to make an incredibly rewarding companion. He is ready for a life of adventure!
