What a pair these two have been!

Boots brought all the energy and plenty of brains to match, while Winter picked up SO many new talents along the way, even when there was a Kong or ball to chase competing for her attention!

Both of these clever pups came leaps and bounds throughout their training, and we have loved watching their confidence, skills and communication grow along the way.

We’ve loved watching their skills develop and can’t wait to see what these two get up to next! 🩵💛

Spring has officially sprung and with it comes… parasites!

They’re tiny. They’re sneaky. And they definitely weren’t invited! While we love seeing the sunshine return, unfortunately fleas, ticks and worms love springtime too.

Parasites can cause more than just a bit of itching, and some can pose serious health risks to our pets. So, knowing what to look out for and staying on top of prevention is an important part of responsible pet care.

From fleas and ticks to worms and heartworm, parasites can cause much more than a little itch. They can affect your dog’s health, your household and even the humans in it.

We’ve put together a handy guide covering the common parasites, the risks they pose and what you can do to help keep your pets protected.

🎓 CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR GRADUATION LUNA! 🎓

Luna is one very special girl. A sensitive and sweet soul, with a big brain and some equally big feelings to match! 🥰

When training first began, she was a little unsure about this strange hooman who kept appearing in her house every week. But it didn’t take long for Luna to work out that strange hooman = treats, cuddles and absolutely no reason to be suspicious! 😂

A few weeks in and she had officially claimed her kingdom, confidently demanding both cuddles and treats from her loyal subjects. 👑🐾

It has been so wonderful watching Luna grow in confidence and seeing just how much that brilliant brain of hers can achieve.

Keep up all the amazing work, Luna, and be so incredibly proud of yourself and all those big-brain achievements! 🩵💛

START ’EM YOUNG: WHY EARLY PUPPY TRAINING MATTERS 🐕

Bringing home a puppy or dog is exciting, but it can also feel a little overwhelming.

Between the toilet training, chewing, biting and general puppy chaos, it’s easy to wonder when you should actually start training.

The answer is simple: start early 😁

Those first few months are a fantastic opportunity to help your puppy learn how the world works, build confidence and develop good habits before unwanted behaviours become established 🙏

Early training isn’t just about teaching your puppy to sit or stay. It’s about helping them become comfortable with new people, dogs, environments, handling, being alone and all the other things they’ll experience throughout life.

The goal isn’t a perfectly behaved puppy. It’s a puppy who is confident, adaptable and knows how to navigate the world with you.

And the best part? Training can be fun for both of you! 🩵💛

A huge congratulations to our clever boy Milo on graduating! 🥳🐾

Milo has worked so hard throughout his training, and it’s been so lovely watching him learn, grow and become even more of a superstar!

And of course, a special shoutout to his big brother Arlo, who decided that if Milo was learning, he might as well pick up a few new tricks too! 😂🐶

Is your dog walking you? 😂🐕

Loose-lead walking is a skill, not something dogs automatically know.

Reward the good stuff, practise in easier environments first, and gradually build up the distractions.

Because walks should be enjoyable for both ends of the lead! 🐾
