At BTG Greyhound Rehoming SA, we’re looking for caring foster homes to help our beautiful greyhounds transition into family life while they wait for their forever homes. 🐾

We supply:

You provide:
🏡 A safe home
💙 Love, patience & guidance
💚 basic home training and manners
🐶 socializing with other dogs big and small
🌎 teach and show them the big world out there and prepare them for their next chapter - adoption

🎓 🐾 GRADUATION DAY 🐾🎓
Saturday morning we had ME Assessments for the dogs in foster care.
Everyone passed with flying colors!

✨ Every greyhound has a story… and Rhonda’s is one of sweetness, sunshine, and simple happiness. ✨

Meet Rhonda
(Raced as Rhonda Wine)
5.5yrs old

Rhonda is one of those girls who just slips beautifully into home life. Easy-going, sweet natured, and happily content with whatever the day brings — whether that’s a little adventure or a sunny nap in the backyard.

This lovely girl has a friendly, social personality but is also wonderfully independent. If the house is busy, she’s more than happy to wander off and find herself a comfy quiet spot to relax. She’s mostly past that puppy stage now and has a calm, relaxed nature, though her cheeky playful side still pops out when she gets excited around her people.
She currently lives with a jack Russell cross and would like a friend of her own (male). Or could possibly be ok on her own for a few hours. 3-4

Her favourite daily routine? Breakfast followed immediately by finding the perfect sunny spot outside to stretch out and snooze the day away — often upside down with paws and legs in the air 😆

Rhonda is also incredibly curious about the world around her. New smells, new places, new things to investigate… her nose is straight in there gathering all the important information.

✔️ Loves a good “sniffari”
✔️ Travels wonderfully in the car
✔️ Happy to relax quietly at home
✔️ Loves cuddling her teddy bears
✔️ Friendly and affectionate nature

She has been very settled in foster care and hasn’t shown any behavioural issues. She’s been good when left at home and is continuing to learn household routines, including toilet training.

The best way to describe Rhonda? She’s just… easy. A sweet, happy girl who isn’t too fazed by anything and simply enjoys life. She has such a soft, gentle nature and honestly feels a little bit like a “girly girl” in greyhound form 💕

Rhonda has passed her BTG assessments and is now ready to find a family of her own
