Breaking News!! Fawcett & Jackson wins 1st SAHPA Fowlers Gap SAD (young bird derby) 486 km on Saturday 15 August. Competing against 78 owners and 1279 birds our BCC SA 25 5333 "Everest" won the prestigious event from Fowlers Gap. He is bred from top pair Sherpa & Brenna, already parents of 5 SAHPA places for us including 1st & 2 x 2nd in 2024 & 2025.
We also finished 17th & 34th in the open result, our 2nd bird "The Mistake" gaining her 2nd SAHPA position of the season after previously being 20th from Yunta 237 km. Always a big thrill to win a top SAHPA race!

A big congratulations to Tsonis Family on taking 16th SAHPA Lyndhurst Open on 7 August against 1930 birds with a young bird bred by us that was donated to a fundraiser sale, George purchased it and had a nice result. A granddaughter of ace race hen Annie 2nd & 12th SAHPA for us and g/dtr of aces Omerta & Goodness. Well done George & Athena. 👏👍
Our won loft went fairly well 41st & 46th in SAHPA open results (19th owner) with a young hen g/dtr of Roxy & Bonnie and a son of Opal 2nd SAHPA Coober Pedy 726 km in 2026, these birds will move onto the YBD in 3 weeks.

Top results from Olary 306 km on Saturday 25 July just on 4.5 hrs we landed 3 birds together to take 6th, 7th and 8th SAHPA SDC open results against 1025 birds. First bird 5477 BCPC scored 5th SAHPA SDC Yunta 3 weeks earlier so another top effort his sire is from G&C McLeod from imported Eijerkamp Van Loon pair with his dam a young hen from last year bred from a son of Proteche and Dynasty when paired with Party Trick 4th SAHPA Terang, incidentally 8th SAHPA 5345 is his full sister
7th SAHPA went to 09124 B*H bred from New Era a top producing son of Miss Jasmine and is all Van Loon with her dam being a daughter of No 1 pair Lachlan and Bonnie
Onto the SAHPA middle distance events this weekend 👍

Super results for our loft from the race on Friday 10 July from Pimba 412 km NW of Adelaide taking 4 hr 32 minutes we landed 5 together of our 30 entries to take 14th to 18th SAHPA SDC in the open results against 1921 birds, in total we took the first 10 prizes in the open results in Kingsford Club against 240 birds and had all ten birds in the first 36 prizes in the open results and 7 in the top 30 a very pleasing day out.
Our first bird over the pad placing 14th 5336 DCC was having his first race and is a full brother to our champion hen Ivy 5 x SAHPA placed all of our top Heremans lines with his sire being the Dark Knight ace race c**k and his dam a daughter of super pair Angus & Erin.
15th place was 5436 BBC a son of Rusty Nailz the sire of 9th Pattaya Ace Birds 2026 son of Olympus & Gracie when paired with Aphrodite 1st SAHPA SDC Bookaloo 2024 and daughter of champion pair Lachlan & Bonnie.
16th place was 5441 BBC a son of top young racer from 2025 Morley son of Blue Leo & Belinda when paired with Verity daughter of Gunpowder Dry & Violet SAHPA Bird of the year 2020.
17th place went to 5468 BGRZH and her full sister 5412 was 29th overall, they are bred from a great grandson of the world famous Leideman pair Viton & Dtr Goed Grijs with their dam being from a son of imported Eijerkamp Pigeons Heremans pair Harry & Amelia when paired with a daughter of aces Lachlan & Emma.
18th place went to 5657 BBH bred by our partner Geoff Jackson, bred from a son of G Hamilton ace Duchess when paired with Kokomo a granddaughter of Eijerkamp Pigeons aces Olympic Leo & Luka Modric.
Very pleasing to have multiple birds on the drop with high results for the 2nd week in a row.

Great results for our birds from Yunta 244 km on Saturday 4 July competing against 1561 birds we landed 4 c**k birds together just on 3.25 hours to place 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th SAHPA Short Distance championship also our 5th bird placing 20th in the open result.
Our first over the pad 5477 BCPC is a combination of top Eijerkamp Van Loon lines with his sire being a grandson of the famous Che when paired to a granddaughter of Proteche and Dynasty
Our 2nd and 3rd birds 5343 and 21810 are full brothers and their sister Opal was 2nd SAHPA Coober Pedy 726 km in 2025 for us.
Our 4th bird 5404 BCC is a full brother to Brutus 4th SAHPA Terang in 2025, very pleasing results at our new residence

Nice result from a solid Bookaloo race on Saturday 20 June with our BGRZC 5380 timing in 5 hrs 22 minutes velocity 1016 mpm to place 28th SAHPA SDC against 1532 birds in his second race from the top Leo Heremans x Leideman Bros lines. His sire is ace breeder Roxy (Angus x Sally Eijerkamp import) x Grizzle hen g/dtr of the world famous Eijerkamp pair Viton x Dtr Goed Grijs.

Two of our birds placed in the top 50 places in the SAHPA SDC open event from Peterborough 182 km against 1754 birds on Sunday 14 June. Given only 7 of the first 35 birds were in the North of Adelaide a fairly pleasing result overall. Our first bird 12804 B*H placing 31st, is all Leo Heremans a daughter of Bruce (Lachlan x Samantha) & Daphne (Robert x Erin). Our second bird 09124 is a combination of Van Loon lines (son Miss Jasmine) when paired to a daughter of Lachlan & Bonnie. Both hens have shown good improvement already this season.
