I have done a slight restructure to my group offerings, and am so excited to be getting back into classes!

Sessions will be on Saturdays at Hampstead Gardens

I have sessions for pups who missed puppy school, older dogs with no prior training, teen and adult stage one group class, and social sessions for reactive dogs.

And for Stage One graduates… STAGE TWO!

Today we confirmed I am Flaco second safe person. It’s taken a few months, but to be honoured like this is such a huge milestone for Flaco, his mum, and me! We are working through a lot of trauma and fear for Flaco, he doesn’t even allow the other humans in his home to touch him.

2026 had been intense, and has forced me to look at what I want from and for myself, and from my business. I’ve been making some changes behind the scenes at Strong Foundations Dog Training, and part of that has been simplifying the services I offer.

My service offering:

• Behavioural Consultations
• Training Consultations
• Rescue/Foster Consultations
• New Puppy Welcome Sessions
• Follow-Up Training Sessions
• Hyper Hounds Hybrid
• Group Classes: Puppy, Prep, Stage 1, Stage 2

And a little Walk & Train update…

My current Walk & Train dogs aren’t going anywhere, but my roster is officially full and I won’t be taking on any new Walk & Train clients for the foreseeable future.

I absolutely love my W&T crew, and I’ve been working with most of them for a long time now. Keeping those spots just for my existing clients means I can continue giving them their regular dedicated sessions, while freeing up more of my week for behaviour cases, private training, and follow-up sessions.

If you’ve been looking for a Walk & Train provider, you’re still more than welcome to reach out. There are some amazing trainers around Adelaide offering this service, and I’m always happy to point you in the right direction.

Sweet baby beefcake Velma was recently adopted by her parents, she was so smart she skipped puppy school and went straight to high school!

Velma matched her namesake, being super smart and quick to work out the mystery of obedience. She excelled at place training, as well as puppy dog eyes!
Velma has amazing resilience, and while she can be a little nervous to start with, she quickly settles and takes challenges in her stride!

Our honorary teen Harper! This love bug came to her parents as a rescue, with a suitcase of behaviours to unpack. Labelled as essentially unfixable, her parents and I were determined to prove that label wrong!

While she’s still learning how not to back-chat so much, she absolutely freaking smashed her first group class!
She showed us why border collies are known for their brains as much as their beauty.

Leg weaves and stretching? No problem! Emergency stops? Easy! Not yelling at the teacher… umm… working on it 😂

Ralph joined us for MTG at the most perfect point in his development. Peek teenage insanity ruled down on his home (and beds), and we were able to work as a team to channel the chaos into something productive.

I’m so proud of how far this handsome fellow has come, and can’t wait to see him for stage two!
