🌸 A massive thank you to Wentao for sharing these incredible photos of his Nymphaea peru 'Puerto Maldonado' in full bloom — just 4 months after bringing it home from us in February! 🙌
Nymphaea peru is one of the rarest aquatic lilies in the hobby, and it's easy to see why it turns heads. Those gorgeous pink leaves — both beneath the surface and floating on top — create a look that truly nothing else in the aquarium world can match.
And then there's the blooms. 🌙 This lily is nocturnal — its flowers open after dark and quietly close again by morning, putting on a breathtaking private show while the rest of the world sleeps.
To see one flower so beautifully, and so quickly, speaks volumes about the care Wentao has put into his tank. We're absolutely stoked for him!
