Mind Your Kettle Housesitting Hello my name is Shannon and I mind your kettle (among other things) while you're away! Free house sitting in the Brisbane region and overseas

I'm Shannon, and I am an experienced house and pet sitter, I have been house sitting for almost 12 months in the Brisbane region, Queensland. I chose Housesitting as an alternative lifestyle so I had the freedom to move suburbs, get out of my comfort zone and most of all to be able to share the company of animals since renting doesn't allow pets. I am also saving to travel and live overseas. I have a wide range of experience with animals as I grew up with many pets. I am a non smoker, quiet and respectful person and I take great pride in the care of your home. I am able to look after animals, take care of your home and keep it secure, bring in mail. I can do light gardening and any property maintenance. I currently work school hours in the inner west of Brisbane, and I have references available if you would like to see them. Please contact me for your house and pet sitting needs! Email: [email protected]

Hello again!
Popping in to say hi after what feels like forever.

I am sure many of you had plans in the last couple of years turned up side down when COVID happened just like it did with me.

Since then, I have changed jobs and not working in education. This means not being able to align with school holidays.
I also have been working at home often during the pandemic.

If you have request for Housesit- I will see what I can do and if it do-able with the commute to the office (Moorooka) or northside to home office and I will let you know.

I’ve missed all those cuddles especially from the dogs!

Hi all!
I have landed back to hot sunny Brisbane (trying to adapt to the weather and Jetlag).
I had a wonderful time travelling and got excited about some snow.

Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas!
Enjoy eating, drinking, chatting with your family, children, friends and animals!
Yay for rain in Brisbane!

Um. Excuse me, don’t mind me. I understand it is 6am and I’d like some breakfast please, if it isn’t too much trouble.

** Anyone planning on going on holiday for few weeks towards end of February- March?
I have an aunt from Tasmania who is an experienced housesitter.
(I got this from her).
I will be away in London at this time and she would like to be based in Northside to be closer to my grandmother who is pushing 91 for her birthday at end of February.
Please get in touch. **
