Feeling absolutely overstretched! Just when I thought I could catch a break after Julie and Oliver's massive bills, Leo came into my life. He's a uni cat from my work, recently dumped, and battling FeLV and mycoplasma. How could I say no?! He's currently at Pawsitive Vet, Silicon Oasis, fighting for his life and had a blood transfusion last night. If you'd like to help with his vet bills, please message us. 💔🐾

Oliver's journey has been tough, from being abandoned in a garage with multiple health issues to undergoing major surgery. It's clear that once he was a pet and despite everything, he's the sweetest cat, and we're hopeful he'll soon be ready for his forever home! 🙏🏡

2025 flew by in a blink with all those good and bad moments. It was a real emotional rollercoaster. May 2026 be a better year for our community animals, rescuers, and the whole world 🌎

We rescuers all have sad stories to tell about our cats—stories that could make a whole room cry. Rescuing is a big emotional challenge. No matter how many times you remind yourself not to get attached to your rescues, your heart never listens. Our hearts break every day.

But there are some unexpected funny moments too, right? Maybe they weren’t funny at the time, but looking back, you just can’t help but laugh. Whether it’s a cat escaping the trap, a trap not closing on time, or a heartwarming surprise—there is definitely a lighthearted side to rescuing cats.

We at Cat Folks would love to hear your funny rescue stories. I’m collecting these stories with the hope of publishing them someday. Maybe this can help bring our big rescuer community even closer and raise a bit more awareness about what we do. Please use the link to share your stories. We’d appreciate it, and you can stay anonymous if you wish.
Please share the link with your network. We would love to hear from as many rescuers as possible.
