Its my friend calling for help, please if anyone can help...
Hello Beautiful lady.
I’m reaching out for help.
To find the right person to guide me in this difficult task, even if it is simply sharing with the right contact. I am at a loss and can not find the answer.
My story
Saluki
It is with difficulty I share my story and reach out for support and guidance and most of all assistance in a time many in the region may find tumultuous.
Due to a loss of employment with Covid I then built a luxury brand to remain in my beloved Oman after the pandemic. Pouring all my savings into it I found the recovery market was unsustainable. A further government withdrawal of an extensive project I was tied to was timed so badly that my health plummeted. Raising my litter of pups was a blessing and a curse. A joy to do, a tax on the body and financials. It took me 12 months to home them.
Injuries sustained to one knee after the other made daily exercise with them terribly painful and slowed recovery to a standstill.
I decided to return to Australia to recover my health and for my dogs to follow when I could walk and find a job, however complications in Oman and a very long healing period and still a lack of work has stopped forward movement of this process.
I have started a ‘Go Fund Me’ but as things in Oman were not moving I felt I must stop asking for help.
I no longer have to option of free and safe care in oman where I just paid food and medical. I need to move my 3 Salukis to a Grade 2 country(rabies free) for their quarantine of 6 months before they will be eligible to fly to Australia which has very stringent rules.
I need to find a foster situation because I can’t raise the money for flights and processing if I have to pay for boarding as well. It is $40,000 AUD
My initial plan was uae but with the regional war going on I’m not sure where priorities lay and people’s circumstances may have changed with the instability. To send them further from Australia would only create more cost in flights and processing but may be safer I believe but I’m at a loss at how to manage this or if it is a sensible move.
