Making it part of everyday life can help your pet feel safer and more comfortable when it’s actually time to travel. Leave it out, add something familiar, reward curiosity, and give them time to explore it at their own pace.

Dubai heat means pets need more water than usual but dehydration can sneak up fast, especially in pets, who are naturally low water-drinkers.

A quick check: gently pull the skin at the back of your pet's neck. If it snaps back slowly instead of instantly, that's a sign they need fluids.

Keep fresh water available at all times, and add a second bowl if you're often out during the day.

Honestly, they're onto something. In peak summer heat, cool surfaces, shade, and plenty of water matter more than people think.

A few easy wins: keep walks to early morning or after sunset, always carry water on outings, watch for heavy panting or reluctance to move, and never leave pets in a parked car — even ‘just for a minute.’

A common myth we hear a lot: ‘My cat's indoors, so they don't really need vet visits.’

Indoor cats are still exposed to parasites -yes, even through open windows and balconies, still need core vaccines, and still age the same as any other cat.

Here's an uncomfortable truth: your pet could be in pain right now and show almost nothing.

Hiding discomfort is a survival instinct left over from the wild — showing weakness made animals a target. Cats and dogs have gotten very good at masking it.

Watch for the quiet signs instead: less playing, more sleeping, changes in appetite, avoiding stairs or jumps, or just seeming ‘off.’

If something feels different, trust that instinct and bring them in.
